• Your mobile number is collected solely for authentication via Firebase Authentication (OTP verification).

• OTPs are securely processed by Firebase and never stored, reused, or accessed by Groomly.

 

b. Booking & Usage Data

• Booking history, salon preferences, service types, and staff choices.

• Interaction data (screens visited, session duration, feature usage) to improve functionality and user experience.

 

c. Device & Technical Data

• Device model, OS version, IP address, crash reports, and performance metrics — collected automatically for analytics and bug resolution.

 

d. Location Information

• Collected only after obtaining your explicit consent, to help display nearby salons and personalized suggestions.

• You may withdraw location access anytime in device settings.

 

e. Payment Data

• Payments are processed through trusted third-party gateways (e.g., Razorpay, Stripe).

• Groomly does not collect, store, or process any card, UPI, or banking credentials.​

 

How We Use Your Information

• Schedule, confirm, and manage salon bookings.

• Send OTPs, booking confirmations, and service notifications.

We do not use your data for profiling or automated decision-making.

Use of Permissions

In accordance with Google Play policy, Groomly requests the following sensitive permissions only when required for app functionality:

Location (approx./precise) - To display salons near you and improve service recommendations.

Camera - To upload profile photos or salon images.

Photos/Media/Files - To allow users to upload or share images within the app.

All permissions are requested only at runtime, and you may deny or revoke them anytime via your device settings.

Denying permissions will not restrict app access except for the specific related features.

We never sell or rent your personal information.

• Salon partners and service providers to fulfil your booking.
