Your mobile number is used for authentication via Firebase Authentication (OTP verification).

OTP verification is handled securely through Firebase Authentication. Groomly does not store OTP codes after verification.

b. Booking & Usage Data

To provide salon booking services, we may collect:

  • Booking history

  • Salon preferences

  • Selected services

  • Staff or specialist choices

  • Appointment schedules

  • Interaction data such as screens visited and feature usage

This information helps us improve functionality and personalize the user experience.

c. Device & Technical Data

We may automatically collect technical information including:

  • Device model

  • Operating system version

  • IP address

  • App crash reports

  • Performance metrics

  • App usage analytics

This information is used for troubleshooting, security monitoring, and improving application performance.

d. Location Information

With your permission, Groomly may access approximate or precise location to:

  • Display nearby salons

  • Improve service recommendations

  • Enhance booking convenience

Location access is optional and can be disabled at any time through your device settings.

e. Payment Data

Payments within Groomly are processed through trusted third-party payment gateways such as Razorpay.

Groomly does not collect, store, or process sensitive payment information such as:

  • Card numbers

  • CVV

  • UPI PIN

  • Bank credentials

All payment transactions are securely handled by the payment gateway according to their own privacy and security standards.

f. Transaction Information

We may store limited transaction details including:

  • Order ID

  • Booking details

  • Payment status

  • Transaction references

This information is used for booking confirmation, transaction records, customer support, and refund processing.

Sensitive financial details are never stored by Groomly.

Refunds and Cancellations

Refunds and cancellations are subject to Groomly's booking policies and the policies of individual salon partners.

If a booking qualifies for a refund, the refund will be processed through the original payment method using the payment gateway (e.g., Razorpay).

Refund processing times may vary depending on the payment provider and banking systems.

How We Use Your Information

We use the collected information to:

  • Verify your identity and manage your account

  • Schedule and manage salon bookings

  • Send OTP verification codes

  • Process payments securely

Salon Partners

To process and fulfill your service bookings.

Service Providers

Staff or professionals assigned to your booking.
